The Vanilla Cake Mix allows you to get creative and add whatever ingredients you like to turn it into carrot cake or raspberry cake or whatever floats your boat. I swirled in some melted chocolate to create a marble effect, then I frosted it with chocolate frosting and topped it with chocolate chips. The cake was moist and delicious.

Wow! I was blown away. First off, the bags have at least double the mix compared to other competing brands on the market in my neck of the woods. They can make a large quantity of cupcakes or a very tall/abundant cake. Who doesn’t like a nice tall slice of cake? The batter and final baked cakes don’t taste like other GF brands I’ve tried. These are sooo tasty and the texture is closer to a wheat flour cake.
I chose to follow Julie’s recommendation of making a coffee cake with the white cake mix. Julie had mentioned it is a “husband-pleaser” and she was dead on about that 😀
Every recipe of Julie’s I’ve tried has turned out fabulous, so it’s no surprise that her cake mixes would be any different. I highly recommend them, even if you’re not gluten-free or even vegan.

This cake mix is amazing! I made two 8 inch cakes, layered dark, sweet cherries in the middle and covered the entire thing with chocolate frosting; YUM! I love to bake but when I don’t have time for shopping and measuring, this will be my go-to option. Can’t wait to experiment with the Brownie Mix!

Amazing! I used it to make a blueberry coffee cake. Just add 1 cup of blueberries to mix and cinnamon/brown sugar crumble on top. Best dessert I’ve had in ages!

last fall. The discount code is “cyber monday special” which I found out in placing my order
no longer applies. Maybe you over looked that offer before you sent these out.
Just curious……why are your cake mixes $8.c0, not to mention shipping, when Whole Foods
sells them for $7.99 and Natural Grocers for $6.99. That doesn’t make sense.
Unfortunately I won’t be ordering any cake mixes today, but I do appreciate the recipes.

I think I just answered my own question, only five minutes late. I’m sure large corporations, when ordering in bulk,
or whatever term is used, receive a discount on the price. And there are those customers who live in remote areas, that
are not close to a store that would carry your products.

This is the first gluten free vegan cake mix that’s ever made it so easy to get light and fluffy vanilla cake! I’ve tried so many other mixes, with various egg substitutes, and always had mediocre results, gummy consistency, flat, closed texture, etc. This mix was so good! Must try! We are a family that is GF, Vegan and Dairy Free (due to health restrictions) and we are so glad to find Julie’s cake mixes. We have only tried the vanilla but if the chocolate is half as good, we’re in for a treat. The texture is actually normal, the taste is outstanding and we’ve tried them all. Give the vanilla a try first; you won’t be disappointed! I just ordered a case to have on hand. I purchased originally from New Seasons and when I ordered direct from Julie’s it was a little less expensive. Can’t wait to try her other items.
